INFO
The A-frame was originally designed in collaboration with Sawhorse Revolution back in 2015. Sawhorse is ... It was designed to serve as a temporary shelter for the homeless in Seattle, and it was first built by a group of high school students under the guidance of builder Greg Kircher and the Sawhorse team.
We are bringing it back to life as a play structure that can be built without a permit in an urban backyard, or as a permanent refuge in the woods. 4 bays make a 120 sf cabin with room for 4 beds, two up top and a double bed below. The extra bay can house a compost toilet and a shower, or it can be used as a greenhouse or a place to store wood or other goods.
