AHOUSE is a design studio born from the passion of designing homes to be lived in. We believe that having a home that brings us joy and that reflects our creativity can be sustainably responsible and budget friendly.

We design and sell architectural drawing sets and material lists that can be used to permit and build a backyard cottage on your own, but we can also work with you through the permitting and/or construction process if desired.

Our solutions fit the city’s lot limitations, energy and building code requirements. They are designed to be easy to build by a local builder and keeping in mind with the resources and natural materials available in Seattle.

AHOUSE was founded in 2018 in Seattle by Raquel Dias Ferreira, Camilla Dahl and Emily Aune.
